OVERVIEW
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a teacher development and certification training. It aims to equip participants with knowledge, skills and resources to enable them practice the 3 dimensions of engaging instruction. The 3 dimensions are underpinned by recent research in neurosciences and theories in education. It explores the fundamentals of teaching and learning encapsulated in the teaching cycle pivotal for effective teaching.

- To identify the fundamentals of designing and delivering effective instruction in the classroom.
- To understand the strategies that can be used to enable students’ transition into critical and high order thinkers.

CERTIFICATION
This training is certified by Golden Links Educational Consultants. Upon completing this training program participants will be awarded a certificate of completion. There is an option to attain the status of Golden Links Mentor. This gives participants the license to mentor other colleagues on the course content. Interested participants will need to undertake an application and assessment process after completion of the course. An email should be sent to [email protected] and guidance documents will be sent. Upon fulfilling all requirements stipulated, the status of Golden Links Mentor will be conferred. Thereafter these mentors will receive all training materials that will enable them deliver this course to their colleagues.
